Respected Hazrat Hakeem Sir Assalam-o-Alikum! My father (May his soul rest in peace) used to give his services in Pak army. He used to tell the incidents of war with much interest. From that the stories of braveness of Pak army and coward of enemy are remembered. One incident from them I am presenting for the readers of Ubqari. The war of 1965 was going on. Most of the fight in baidyaan sector was being fought from infantry and cannon place. One night there was almost silence on both sides. After seeing the condition of situation and area, one patrol party (The party which roams) was sent. In it were 5 people, 1 officer and 4 soldiers present. The responsibility of patrol party is that till the area which has been taken in control, they roam around its boundary, throughout the night so that the enemy may not come forward silently in our area or else may not do any gorilla attack after entering. Approximately half of the night was spent. The officer sir who was walking forward felt that one petrol party of enemy is also coming out it has to pass from near. Immediately five youngsters took positions and lay down. The officer sir strictly stopped his soldiers that until and unless I don’t give the order of five, you don’t have to do fire. When the Indian party reached near, the officer shouted “hands up Pakistanis and along with it abused”. One two men of enemy replied “We are Indians not Pakistanis”. (In darkness only their shadows were seen and it wasn’t obvious that whether they had done their hands up or not). The officer again abused Pakistan and said, “Instead we are Indians, we don’t trust you, it is better that both the parties join together but I will do prevention. One man from you shall keep the weapons on ground and come to use while clapping”. The first man of enemy kept the weapons on ground with some hesitation and come forward while clapping. The youngsters held him quickly and made him sit. Put sangeen on his neck and said that don’t say, similarly other soldiers also kept their weapons, one by one and kept coming forward while clapping. Whoever used to come, he was made sit silently. Till then 21 Indian soldiers were imprisoned. In the end their leftenant stopped to come said: What is this scene to keep the weapon on ground and come forward by clapping, you didn’t get believe up till now”. The officer replied, “See, your all partners have come. If you don’t want to come, then don’t come. I doubt that you are the spy”. Then he thought for few moments he also kept his weapons on ground and came forward while clapping. It is a unique incident of present mind in the condition of threat. Allah جل جلالہ kept our roab in the hearts of enemy and our strong-hearted soldiers got help and assistance. No doubt, Pak army is that great army with whom Allah’s help and assistance used to be all the time and our soldiers with Allah’s help sometimes do such work that are not the part of their training.
